The Meeting

Held every two years, the ISVCA Meeting is the principal global forum for vascularized composite allotransplantation. In 2027 it comes to Taiwan for its 18th edition, convening surgeons, immunologists, scientists and allied health professionals across hand, face and other composite tissue transplantation.

We aim to create a broad and balanced program and, above all, we encourage you to reserve your best and most thoughtful work for this international meeting.

Prepare Your Abstract

Download the official Word template. Structure the body as Introduction, Methods, Results and Conclusions. Do not include the title, authors or affiliations in the document — review is blinded.

Abstracts must be in English. You may submit as many as you wish — one form per abstract. Every abstract is peer-reviewed for oral or poster presentation.

Apply for a Travel Award

Eligible trainees apply during submission by ticking the award box and uploading a supporting letter from their Training Program Director.

Register by Feb 1, 2027

Notifications are sent mid-January. Only abstracts of presenting authors who have finalized registration and payment by February 1 will be scheduled.

Publication: Accepted abstracts are expected to be published online in an official meeting supplement. Publication details (including the journal) will be confirmed by the organizing committee. Abstracts not accepted for presentation will not be published.

Congress Scientific Awards

Two award streams help offset the cost of attending ISVCA 2027 in person. Application deadline: November 30, 2026.

ISVCA

ISVCA Congress Scientific Award

Helps cover the cost of travel and accommodation during the meeting. Applicants must be an ISVCA member, submit an abstract as presenting author, and be a trainee, AHP or resident of an emerging economy country.

Up to USD 1,000 per awardee · maximum 5 awards

TTS

TTS ISVCA Congress Scientific Award

Designed to help offset expenses incurred to attend the Congress in person, awarded on scientific merit. Applicants must be a TTS member and meet the same eligibility criteria.

Up to USD 1,000 per awardee · maximum 5 awards per Congress

Recipients must attend the meeting and attend the designated award presentation session to receive the award; if an awardee is selected but does not attend, the monies of the award will be forfeited. A supporting letter signed by the applicant's Training Program Director is required, and the applicant must be the presenting author.
How to apply: tick the award option when you submit your abstract. More specific application details for both ISVCA and TTS awards will be published shortly.
